Brand Development, LGBTQ, Consulting Firm, NYC

BlackOutEndeavors LLC is a multifaceted brand management and business development firm formed in 2007 and based in New York City. Through our efforts and our intuitive vision for the future of business, with a special emphasis on LGBT businesses, we are committed to being an innovative and progressive company in the consumer products, product development, marketing and brand management industry. We focus on brand development and our mission is to take abstract ideas and develop quality brands that consumers come to trust and enjoy.

We are developing our own brands and working with other select companies and individuals to strategically position themselves in their respective market. We’ve had a successful brand in our first line of t-shirts, Flirtatious-T and are currently working on our third endeavor, Kinkster Mag.

“People want guidance, not rhetoric. They need to know what the plan of action is and how it will be implemented. They want to be given responsibility to help solve the problem and the authority to act on it.” –Howard Schultz, Starbucks

Successful branding requires you to stand out among the competition. Our management team has mastered the art of influence by commanding the interest of our consumers.

Brand DNA

When it comes to branding, it’s important to identity who you are and who you want to be in the marketplace. Branding also requires asking yourself and your consumers several questions that will provide a basis for establishing your brand and identity. Whether your questions and answers come from social media, response to print advertisements, direct survey, or comments from a newsletter, it’s important to ask these questions first to help drive the conversation that comes later.

Brand Blueprint

To answer the question “what is social branding?” you need to understand the importance of branding.

  1. Define your brand identity?
  2. Who are your customers?
  3. What kind of personality do you want your brand to have?
  4. What have you done to build brand awareness?
  5. If applicable, why are you considering a re-brand?
  6. When people think about your company, product or image what are the feelings and associations you want them to have? Are they unique? Can you “own” those expectations?

Consumer Focused

To successfully engage with current or potential customers, having a social media presence is no longer optional. Establishing your social media identity is important whether you are selling a product or providing a service. The attention to detail on how each platform works is critical to effectively using each of them. Effectively marketing your business or using social media means not using old school tactics of selling. Finding creative ways to engage your customer and creating a sense of community are important steps in planning your social media strategies.

It’s imperative that when creating and analyzing your social media identity and presence you do it from a detached customer viewpoint. This makes your strategy far easier to plan. But in the real world it can take time, patience and the skill to get to that place. However, that is a very cogent goal for long lasting success.

Largely, social media is a forum and if used properly you will be able to connect with your existing and future customers, build business relationships, improve consumer relationships and potentially increase sells.
